I was gone for so long that Xanga emailed me and said I needed to log on before they closed my account. So, here I am once again in the Xanga world. Does anyone use this still? I know I get updates from quite a few people so for their sake I will stay on, because I love to hear about the lives of those I miss.

What is going on in my life?
~Turning 24 in thirteen days (wow I am getting old)
~Graduating in eight months
~God willing, my older brother Christopher will be home from Iraq June 7th
~Younger brother Kurt might transfer colleges...still in the works of a decision
~I got a new job as a secretary of the biggest church in CT (Living Word Ministries)
Pastor Ken Hagin preached there last night with his wife Lynette
~Jef (my gorgious boyfriend) is in his last week of tax season (he is a CPA) and is completely exhausted but we are
working through it together. I did not realize how hard they have it for four months out of the year. But I am glad it
is coming to an end.
~I am slowly getting a warm fuzzy feeling for having cats around since Jef has two. They actually are quite cute
~Yes, Red Sox are the best!
~Jef is selling his condo either to move into a house or other plans that are in the works.

I will try to keep writing as life happens!

Hi everyone...another brief pause before I am able to get things updated onto xanga.
Things are still going. School full time, job part time, and now I have a boyfriend

Yes, he is more than I ever could have asked for and he asked me to be his girlfriend. This season of getting to know Jef has been most rewarding. Words would not do justice to the feelings I feel for him...time will tell. I cannot wait for everyone to meet him.

Update!

Hi Everybody!
I can not believe it has taken me this long to update. If you have not spoken to me in a while you definitely need a Kara fix so drop me a hello.
As for an update, well I am single and have been for a while. I have two semesters left of college, can not believe it is almost over. My older brother Christopher is still in Iraq and doing well, although I miss him terribly. My younger brother Kurt made it into West Point and is now on the varsity Laccrosse team. My parents are wonderful and fall in love more each day.
I think that is about it for now. O how I have missed everyone!

I haven't posted in about a year so I thought some people might want to know something, anything that is going on in my life.

Here is a glympse of what I was thinking on Thanksgiving Day...

THOUGHTS

I am immensely thankful for my most astounding family (Beca too). They are my own heart beat and I am so thankful they are in my life. Also, I want to thank god for my closest friends...you all know who you are if I have talked with you recently or not I haven't forgotten about you.

I think that on Thanksgiving my family eats more food than on Christmas, actually they do. The best part about it is that my mother and I did ALL the cooking (well my dad peeled the shrimp for shrimp cocktail). And the even better part about being the family that has Thanksgiving and does the cooking is that you have leftovers for an entire WEEK...well we keep having parties so I'm not sure how long the food will last us...Thank you Jesus for your gracious abundance of food in my house that we may be a blessing to the families around us.

Much love to you all...hope your thanksgiving was full of good food and family, I know mine was!
